The 14th World Congress on In Vitro Fertilization is being held in Montreal—so all of us with endo benefit because we can hear from some of the top experts in our field, including some in French as well as English.

PRESENTERS/EXPERT PANEL:

Jacques Donnez, M.D., Catholic University of Louvain, Belgium. Professor Donnez is renowned all over the world for his leadership in endometriosis, including President of the World Endometriosis Society (a professional, medical society). Professor Donnez has recently developed some very interesting research on iron and endo and will share his insights on this research as well as some of his leadership in medical and surgical therapies for endo and infertility.

Mary Lou Ballweg, Founder, Executive Director and President of the Endometriosis Association, an internationally recognized expert on the disease, and author and editor of four groundbreaking books on endo, discovered a major link in the cause of endometriosis (hormonally and immune-active chemical including dioxin) and is a leader in medical education and research on the disease. She will also be autographing the Association’s latest books, which will be available at the event.

Togas Tulandi, M.D., Director, Div. Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility, McGill University. Dr. Tulandi has been a leader in the International Society of Gynecologic Endoscopy and in many surgical frontiers related to endometriosis. It would be a shame to not be aware of this wonderful doctor’s expertise. Don’t miss it!

Réne Frydman, M.D., Clamart, France. Dr. Frydman is part of the debate taking place at the 14th World Congress on In Vitro Fertilization being held in Montreal. He advocates that endometriomas, cysts occurring often in endometriosis, should be removed before in vitro fertilization. Hear from one of the top experts on this topic yourself! (Unconfirmed.)

Beverly Hanck, Executive Director, Infertility Awareness Association of Canada. Beverly will be speaking on the topic that she is also covering for the physicians at the Congress: “Getting Government to Cover IVF—the Canadian Experience.” You won’t want to miss this!
